The Muleteer Museum Foundation in Igualada has clear cultural objectives that go from the preservation and protection of the goods that form the Museum to the promotion of the investigation of the identity traits that the muleteer fact symbolizes in Anoia area, in particular, and in Catalonia, in general.

These cultural objectives are completed with a solid social initiative that tries to get the constitutional and autonomic principle of equality warranting the accessibility to the Antoni Ros Collection. The Museum will be opened for everybody, in equal conditions, disabled or not.

This modification meets to the increasing sensitivity of Ros family, who has decided to transfer the essence of the communicative mood of Mr. Antoni Ros to the social and cultural dynamics of the XXI century, by an integrative strategy of accessibility to the cultural patrimony that contains the creation of a transversal model of management that focuses on an initial stage in the collective of blind and visual impairment people. In consequence, measures have been taken to concrete some facts like the signature of an agreement of collaboration with ONCE or the communication of this integrative museum strategy to the political power by an appearance in the Catalan Parliament.

Social Responsibility is a concept whereby companies decide voluntarily integrate the achievement of social objectives like an strategic inversion and not like an expense.
